This post will serve as a progress blog of how my major assignment is going, in terms of recording and writing up our presentation due in late June.
I have started by continuing to create more slides for our presentation, as well as start to gather items for the Office soundscape, the soundscape jack and I will work on collaboratively. After listening to what sounds certain items made, heres what i ended up using to create the Office soundscape:
Now that I have all the items ready to use, its time to record!
One thing I have learnt very early on when recording in Soundtrap is that the tracks automatically add reverb to all recordings. It is crucial that this is turned off in order to make the recordings the best quality they can be. As you can see in this screenshot here, simply turn down the reverb dial all the way to get the best recording possible:
Whilst Jack and I are still working on completing this soundscape, heres a soundscape i prepared earlier, a Kitchen Soundscape!
