Week 12 - MUED4002

This week, we focused on something everyone in the class has used before – Canvas. Although we’ve all used it as students, none of us have used it in a teaching role, which was what we focused on today. Our main goal was to create a class, with a module folder containing an “assignment”. As I’m used to using Canvas, navigating the site was relatively easy, and creating a class was quite simple.

Once this one done, we discussed the more in-depth mechanics of Canvas, as well as its use outside of this class. Since we use it for Uni, it’s clear the viability of using it schools, however similar to last week, you have to consider the work of switching the whole school over from their previous site of choice, as well as teaching all staff how to use the site.
