Week 1 - MUED4002

Starting off the week, we opened with about 5-10 minutes of meditation, focusing us for the next two hours of Soundtrap. Having already used Soundtrap last year for work and Uni, I already knew a lot of what was covered this lesson. This meant however, that I had more time to experiment with creating Loops, as seen here!

I was quite happy with how this loop turned out especially given the time frame allotted. The finer details, such as equalising the drum beat and creating a melody in the synth part were still in my comfort zone, however I could spend more time using these tools than I had previously before. Heres what the Loop ended up sounding like!

This brought us to the end of using Soundtrap this lesson! Hopefully in the following lessons we go further into depth into creating music through Soundtrap, such as the work we can do with the "Perfect Storm" hook provided.
